There is much agreement on the benefits of government and industry communicating better. However, knowing we are supposed to communicate “better” is not the same thing as knowing how to communicate “better”.

Back in episode 453, Kevin and Paul outlined a tool to better communicate better: namely Aristotle’s 3 Elements of Persuasion (Ethos, Logos, and Pathos). Then in episode 461, they drilled down into how the government acquisition teams can use these elements to get more offers from better contractors, get better proposals, and award more successful contracts.

Here in Part 3, they continue the application of these persuasive elements by focusing on how the Industry teams can use them. Kevin and Paul walk through how industry can use these tools to target better, to communicate better, and to be more successful (i.e. win more).

Side note: if you’ve not listened to episodes 453 and 461, I suggest you start there. They provide context for this episode.
