There are some unique words in GovCon – one of our favorites is “de-obligated” (not be confused with “not obligated”). While it’s easy to make fun of these words, communication can go sideways when we don’t realize we are using words that mean one thing in GovCon, but mean something different outside of GovCon.
In this episode, Kevin and Paul continue the GovCon Vocabulary Series. The goal of this series is to help clear up some of the confusion around what specific words mean in the context of GovCon. In Volume III, Kevin and Paul outline how the words “Consolidate” and “Bundle” have very different meanings in GovCon – and how misunderstanding them can cause real problems further along in the acquisition process.
Enjoy!
